Vadirajara Panchami Vishesha Pooja Seva is the full special pooja of Sri Vadirajaru’s Panchavrundavana on Panchami tithi, the fifth day of the lunar fortnight. At Shri Bhaavi Sameera Vadiraja Mandira, Chintamani, this is not a short nama archana alone. It is the complete worship that the Swapna Vrundavana Akhyana asks for: incense, lamps, garlands, sandal paste, durva, akshata, panchamruta, five delicacies, and pancha kharjura as naivedya. Sri Vadirajaru himself said that this Vrundavana grants the rightful wishes of the pious and that it should be worshipped on Panchami and during the five parva times of the day. Why Panchami Belongs to Vadirajaru
In the Anu Vrundavana Akhyana, the digest of the Swapna Vrundavana Akhyana, verses 10 and 11 say: Tasmaad vrundavana idam sarvabheeshtapradam sataam… Panchamyaam cha tithau nityam pancha parvasu poojayet. This Vrundavana grants all desires to the pious. It should be worshipped during the five special parva times, and especially on Panchami. The number five runs through the whole teaching: five Vrundavanas at Sodhe, five forms of Lord Hari, five parva kalas, Panchami tithi, Panchamruta, and Pancha Kharjura.
No other Yati in the Madhwa line has a Panchavrundavana of this kind. Four shrines stand as a rectangle and the main Vrundavana stands at the centre. The Akhyana says Lord Hayagreeva has entered those five seats, and that Brahma, Rudra, and Indra worship there. Holy beings are present still more on parva days. Panchami is the tithi Vadirajaru marked for this worship, so a vishesha pooja on that day follows his own word, not a later custom.
How the Vishesha Pooja Is Performed
The archaka performs sankalpa with your name and gotra, then offers the traditional upacharas before the Panchavrundavana: dhoopa, deepa, a fresh garland, chandana, durva, and akshata. Panchamruta is offered. Naivedya includes five delicacies and the five dry fruits named in the Akhyana: grapes, almonds, dates, figs, and sakkare badami. The pooja honours the fivefold presence of Hari (Vasudeva, Narayana, Pradyumna, Aniruddha, and Sankarshana) and the living presence of Sri Vadirajaru, who entered his Vrundavana while still alive. It closes with mangala arati.
The five daily parva windows remembered in the tradition are pratah kala, parva kala, madhyahna, pradosha kala, and sayankala. The temple times this vishesha pooja to Panchami, and within that day to a parva hour whenever the seva calendar allows.
How This Seva Differs from Panchami Archana
Panchami Archana Seva (Rs. 101) is nama archana, the recitation of divine names with Tulasi, flowers, or akshata on Panchami tithi. It is the simpler, daily way to keep the saint’s instruction. Vadirajara Panchami Vishesha Pooja Seva (Rs. 501) is the fuller pooja the Akhyana lists: the materials, the naivedya, and the fivefold honour of the Panchavrundavana. Devotees who want a complete Panchami offering choose this seva. Those who wish a lighter monthly remembrance keep the archana. Both may be booked together when a family wants both the names and the full upachara.

The Akhyana is plain: when the Vrundavana is worshipped in this manner with devotion, Vadirajaru grants unsurpassed blessings. Devotees seek this seva for guru kripa, for the grace of Hayagreeva (clarity of mind and sacred learning), for family peace, for the settling of obstacles, and for spiritual steadiness. Because the saint is Latavya, the next Vayu, worship at his Vrundavana is also an approach to the Vayu tattva that Madhwa teaching holds as the foremost among jivas. Panchami in either the bright or the dark fortnight is suitable. Festival Panchamis and the Panchami nearest a personal vow are especially loved.
