Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to the Ruju Yogi Foundation Privacy Promise for Devotee’s, which is as follows:
While information is the cornerstone of our ability to provide superior service, our most important asset is our Devotee’s trust. Keeping Devotee information secure, and using it only as our Devotee’s would want us to, is a top priority for all of us at Ruju Yogi Foundation. Here then, is our promise to our Devotee’s:

Privacy promise
- We will safeguard, according to strict standards of security and confidentiality, any information our Devotee’s share with us.
- We will limit the collection and use of Devotee information to the minimum we require to deliver superior service to our Devotee’s, which includes advising our Devotee’s about our products, services and other opportunities, and to administer our business.
- We will permit only authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of Devotee information, to have access to that information. Employees who violate our Privacy Promise will be subject to our normal disciplinary process.
- We will not reveal Devotee information to any external organization unless we have previously informed the Devotee in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by the Devotee, or are required by law.
- We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our Devotee information.
- Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we will require them to conform to our privacy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance.
- We will attempt to keep Devotee files complete, up-to-date, and accurate. We will tell our Devotee’s how and where to conveniently access their information (except when we’re prohibited by law) and how to notify us about errors which we will promptly correct.

Open Books and public acknowledgement
Sri Ruju Yogi Foundation publishes recorded Seva offerings in Open Books so Haribhaktas can review Foundation accounts. Financial transparency does not require exposing private devotee information.
When you offer Seva, you may choose how you are acknowledged on the public Open Books page. New offerings default to Anonymous:
- Anonymous (default) — shown as Anonymous Haribhakta. The recorded amount may still appear as part of Foundation accounting.
- Show my name — your masked name may appear among participating Haribhaktas, without linking a public amount to you.
- Show my name and Seva amount — your masked name may appear with the recorded contribution amounts.
If an older receipt has no stored preference, Open Books keeps the name that was already on that invoice. New receipts without a choice are stored as Anonymous. This preference applies only to Open Books. It does not change how priests record a Sankalpa or how a receipt is issued to you.
Records published before 2026-09-15 remain as they were already shown. We do not invent later consent for those historical rows.
The following are not shown on Open Books: Gotra, Nakshatra, Rashi, phone numbers, email addresses, WhatsApp numbers, postal addresses, UTR / UPI references, Razorpay payment IDs, and other private payment identifiers.
RujuYogi app
The RujuYogi app is a client of this website. Booking, payment, and your account use the same pages as the site.
If you allow notifications, we store a device id and a push token so we can tell you when a seva is confirmed, performed, shipped, cancelled, or refunded, and when a milk delivery bill is waiting to be paid. Milk bill reminders repeat every other day until that bill is paid. You can turn order updates and seva announcements off separately in the app. Announcements are written by Foundation staff. The festival calendar does not send notifications by itself.
Saving a Cow Adoption Certificate keeps the certificate image on your phone. Sharing copies a caption to the clipboard and hands the image to Instagram, Facebook, or the share sheet. We do not post to those accounts for you.
You can delete the account from My Account. That removes the login and push registration. Orders are kept without your name and contact details so the Foundation can retain receipts.
Signed-in activity
When you are signed in, the Foundation records the pages and sevas you open, what you search for, cart changes, and orders. Shop managers use this in the website admin to understand devotees and improve the site. Passwords and payment card details are not included. The record is removed when you delete your account or ask for erasure, and otherwise kept for 120 days.
