Adoption is monthly care, not ownership. Her food, shelter and care cost a set amount each month. Up to 7 people can sponsor her together. One sponsor pays a share of that. Your name is shown on her page. She stays at the Gaushale for life.

Every card and profile leads with those facts. Female or Male is the first chip. Mother cow, male calf, or bull tells you the role. Pregnant is written in those words — not as a hint. If a cow is pregnant, the page names the months and says the father of the unborn calf is Arjuna. That cow is the mother. Her children already born are listed as son or daughter.

Arjuna is male — the herd’s bull at Thinakallu. Lakshman Srikanth D (Founder) purchased him for this Gaushale in 2022. He is the father of Gopi, Laatavya, Vaktavya, Gange, and Narmada, and of the calves Godavari, Bharati, and Bhairavi are carrying. On 18 September 2026 Payaswini was ready to become pregnant, so she was mated with him. We do not know yet if she is pregnant. Like every adult in the herd, up to 7 people can sponsor Arjuna.

Adoption is Gau Palana — monthly care of one Gau Mata. The Rig Veda praises the cow as sacred. The Mahabharata and Puranas describe Gau Seva as among the highest dharmas, and tradition treats sponsoring a cow’s upkeep at a Gaushala as the living form of Go-Dana. Scriptural references describe traditional guidance about the blessing (phala) of this seva. They are not promises of specific worldly outcomes.

One sponsor of a calf pays ₹1,071 a month. One sponsor of an adult pays ₹2,500 a month. A calf is a calf until three years of age. Up to 7 sponsors share her care. If she has no sponsor yet, you can pay for all of her care: ₹7,500 a month for a calf, ₹15,000 for an adult. You pay by Autopay and can stop anytime.

Gau Grasa is a single gift. ₹500 feeds Gau Mata for a day, or a larger amount keeps Gau Mata fed for more days. Sponsorship is monthly care for one named cow. Both reach the same Gaushale.

Gau Dana is the traditional gift of a Desi cow with her calf to the Gaushale — a Godana offering booked as a temple seva. Several mothers here arrived that way, including Payaswini, Shruti, Smriti, Kaveri, and Sindhu. Bharati, Bhairavi, Godavari, and Arjuna were purchased for this Gaushale by Lakshman Srikanth D (Founder) in 2022; Kapila was purchased in 2023. Sponsorship is different: you pay monthly for a cow who already lives at Thinakallu. You may do either, or both.

Yes. Ruju Yogi Foundation is a registered 12A trust (NGO Darpan KA/2025/0630087). Offerings made through this page are recorded, and a receipt is sent to the email you enter at checkout. We do not have 80G.

Yes, while spots are open. Each cow can have up to 7 sponsors. Her page shows how many spots are open, and the first names of her sponsors, unless they chose to stay unnamed.

Ruju Yogi Gaushale is the cow sanctuary of the mandira — a place of Gau Seva for indigenous Desi cattle, including Gir cows and calves, kept for dharma rather than dairy. Care is personal, identified, and lifelong. It is not a commercial gaushala and not a municipal pound.

Yes. Open books for the Foundation — including Gau Grasa names and yearly expenses — are on the Transparency page. Offerings and expenses are one Foundation total from one Trust account.

Her page says she is fully sponsored. You can sponsor her mother, her calf, or another cow. When a spot opens, it shows on her page again.

She becomes an adult, and a new sponsor pays ₹2,500 a month. If you started while she was a calf, you keep paying ₹1,071 for as long as you sponsor her. We write to tell you she has grown up.

Yes. Tick “Gift this sponsorship to someone else.”, then choose “As a gift” or “In memory of someone”, and enter their name. Your tax receipt is in your name. The certificate shows their name. Tick “Show their name on her page” if you want her page to show them. If you leave that box unticked, her page shows “A sponsor”.

You give ₹501 a month towards one cow and the herd. It does not take a sponsor spot, so any number of people can give it. You get her news. Her page counts these gifts. Your name is not on the sponsor board.

Yes. Choose “Pay for a year (1 month free)”. One payment covers 12 months, and you pay for 11. The same amount is charged automatically each year until you stop it from your UPI app or your account. Full refund if you change your mind within 7 days of the first payment.

Yes, in the same payment, while spots are open, up to ₹15,000 a month in total.

Yes. Choose “Tell me when a spot opens” and confirm your email. When a spot opens, the first person waiting gets an email, and the spot is kept for them for 48 hours. You can leave the list from any email.

Indian citizens, including NRIs, paying from an Indian UPI, card, or bank account. Your gift goes to the herd’s care, in your name. You can stop monthly Autopay anytime. Months already paid are not refunded. A yearly gift is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days.
