Adoption is a sacred monthly seva, not a transfer of ownership. Gau Mata remains at Sri Ruju Yogi Vadiraja Mandira & Gaushale for life. You become her Seva Karta: your name is recorded, and your monthly gift funds fodder, water, shelter, and daily Gau Pooja.

Every card and profile leads with those facts. Female or Male is the first chip. Mother cow, male calf, or bull tells you the role. Pregnant is written in those words — not as a hint. If a cow is pregnant, the page names the months and says the father of the unborn calf is Arjuna. That cow is the mother. Her children already born are listed as son or daughter.

Arjuna is male — the herd’s bull at Thinakallu. He is the father of the calves Godavari, Bharati, and Bhairavi are carrying. On 18 September 2026 the Gaushale also brought Payaswini to him; she is not confirmed pregnant. Adopting Arjuna funds a heavier monthly share of fodder for the bull who sires this orchard’s next calves.

Adoption is Gau Palana — monthly care of one Gau Mata. The Rig Veda praises the cow as sacred. The Mahabharata and Puranas describe Gau Seva as among the highest dharmas, and tradition treats sponsoring a cow’s upkeep at a Gaushala as the living form of Go-Dana. Scriptural references describe traditional guidance about the blessing (phala) of this seva. They are not promises of specific worldly outcomes.

A shared monthly adoption starts at ₹1,500 for a calf and ₹2,100 for an adult. That is monthly care for one cow — fodder, water, shelter, and dawn Gau Pooja. Over a year, ₹2,100 a month is ₹25,200: nearly two months of an adult cow’s fodder, given in your name. About seven shared Seva Kartas keep one adult Gau Mata. Full monthly care is ₹15,000 if you wish to carry her yourself. You can cancel Autopay at any time from UPI.

Gau Grasa is a single offering — ₹500 feeds one cow for one day, or a larger amount for more days. Adoption is the same Gau Seva given a name and a monthly rhythm: your name returns beside one cow. Both reach the same Gaushale.

Gau Dana is the traditional gift of a Desi cow with her calf to the Gaushale — a Godana offering booked as a temple seva. Several mothers here, including Shruti, Smriti, Kaveri, Sindhu, and Payaswini, arrived that way with their daughters. Adoption is different: you become Seva Karta for a cow who already lives at Thinakallu, and your monthly gift funds her fodder and Gau Pooja. You may do either, or both.

Ruju Yogi Gaushale is the cow sanctuary of the mandira — a place of Gau Seva for indigenous Desi cattle, including Gir cows and calves, kept for dharma rather than dairy. Care is personal, identified, and lifelong. It is not a commercial gaushala and not a municipal pound.
